Andrew and Chelsey Sparks are the owners of Decaturville Family Practice. They purchased the medical practice in July 2017 from Dr. Ramesh Reddy. Dr. Reddy founded the Decaturville Clinic in 1984 when he moved to the area from New York after completing medical school. Andrew and Chelsey are life long residents of Decatur County and have both have medical backgrounds and a passion for the people of Decatur County. Andrew is currently the EMA Director of Decatur County. He graduated from paramedic school in December of 2008. From 2008 until 2014, he worked in EMS in Decatur and surrounding counties.
In August of 2014, he started his administrative career as the Assistant EMA director and went on to be the Director in 2018. Chelsey completed her BSN in 2008 and then her MSN in 2011. She worked in an ICU step down unit at St. Thomas while obtaining her MSN. Upon completion of her MSN, she has provided patient care in the family practice setting. Andrew and Chelsey reside in Decaturville with their four children, Hannah, Allison, Mary, and Maverick. Their goal is to provide quality healthcare services to the residents of Decatur County for years to come.
